Agree, but black males don't seem to get ridiculously fat like some black women. I think muscle density has something to do with black men staying leaner.

When you think about it New York has approximately 5 times the number of obese people than Mississippi, it is all in how you want to interpret your statistics.

If northern cities were set up like southern cities they wouldn't walk any more than southerners do now. It's just not feasible. Has nothing to do with an inate hatred.

As intelligent as these non-southerners claim to be the use of logic is conspicuously absent in a lot of their posts.

It may be that folks down south "live to eat" more that they "eat to live". One thing I have to say is that some troll earlier in the thread said "all Americans are fat" , I have a response for that, --- LIAR !
I am an American and I am not fat. Southern food is really good and the next time I can visit, I'll be eating a lot of BBQ and I'll be putting tons of butter on my corn on the cob and in my grits.

Or Necessarily true?

Boulder is full of rich, stuck up people.. NJ has diversity (Cubans , Portugese/Brazilians, Italian , Black etc), what's more beautiful than that?... But your coming from Laguna Beach, so I can see why you'd come up with such an assumption.

Yeah I know, 27% in GA versus 23% in CA. WOW, a whopping 4% point difference!

Yea there are 8,510,000 obese people in California compared to 2,430,000 in Georgia which is a little over 3 to 1 ratio and compared to Mississipi it is a 9 to 1 ratio and in another post New York was a 5 to 1 comparison to Mississippi, like I stated it is however you interpret your statistics.

So this study shows that obesity is spread out(no pun intended) in this country, not in one particular region.

Biscuits swimming is sausage gravy. I took one bite and that was enough. I couldn't eat that for dinner let alone breakfast at 7 AM.
