Because it has a booming economy, a low cost of living, and decent weather. . . Correct me if I'm wrong?
I agree with the statement except for the weather part. It's too hot there, 90+ temperatures for almost the whole summer is too much! (in the day when it counts)
Big ditto. Dallas only has "decent weather" if you're someone who can tolerate intense heat for 5 straight months and if you're not particularly interested in enjoying 4 distinct seasons. It would be a 3 out of 3... for anyone who loves to tan to a crisp and pay outrageous electric bills. The criticism could be the same for a city with long harsh winters, but to me, any area that clocks extreme temps can't be classified as a truly good weather area. But like Sublime said, "good weather" is so subjective...
Hmm, I don't really find the heat in Dallas particularly uncomfortable (if anything, I find the dryness much more tolerable than the humid heat here in Brownsville), and the amount of sunshine it gets is a plus for me. The fact that it snows every now and then is also nice. But perhaps Atlanta might've been a better suggestion?

Could someone please tell me how this all works. Thanks

Am I crazy to imagine that such a city might actually exist in America? Seems like there are a couple of places that that get two out of three, but what about the perfect trifecta?
You have to define all 3. You know, if you live in NYC or LA, to you, everyplace else may seem to have a low cost of living and what's good weather? A lot of people think Florida has good weather but I ruled it (and Arizona) out immediately for the heat.
