I like Maritime for the most part. I live basically in that climate now. The only downside is that the winters are really slushy. The snow is gone within hours of falling if it fell at all. The temperatures hover annoyingly 1 degree above freezing. I like snow in my winters. Winter just seems pointless without it.

The fact that if I picked a day, say July 8th this year for an outdoor event and all my guests could be cold, warm, hot or even too hot; because our daytime high could be anywhere from 55 F and 95 F without being a daily record?

Most summers highs here are maybe above 65 F and below 92 F, most of the time. Oil City, PA I'd guess is probably between 68 F and 94 F most of the summer, since their average is 84 F in July.

85-97? Sounds perfect! Only 12 F temp difference?... Nice!

As long as I stay hydrated, 95 F could only kill me if I was being very stupid. All I'm at risk for is a red face and small sweat spots on my t-shirt if I'm moving too quickly. But thanks for the warning anyways.
July 8th here can be anywhere between 105F and 119F. Any cooler would be a freak event above 110 would be a heat wave but common

I like my winters cold and snowy, my summers hot but not above 85, and long spring and fall seasons in between. I'm probably more cut out for a New England climate than a New Jersey climate.

A Coniferous weather is ideal.
But Temperate weather is fine by me too.

Subtropical for me. I absolutely love heat but I'd like a small chance at snow in the Winter, similar to what happened in Houston recently. After it snows it can go back to the 60's/70's/80's for the rest of the Winter.

When asked what cities people like the climate of, it's always cities with warm weather:

City with best climate??

But when you ask what type of weather people like you get that of Midwestern and Northeastern cities. This does not add up.

More evidence that CD polls prove absolutely nothing.

Tropical.

Summer all the time. I absolutley cannot stand cold....all I ask is for constant warm weather. I could care less if it's a desert or a rainforest....as long as it's always hot, I'm happy.

After living in Florida for years; I find I prefer a temperate climate with definitive seasons and variability. After a bit of time the heat/humidity and lack changeable weather patterns here gets very tedious and unbareable.
