That's nice, but is there a national map for those of us that don't live in KY?

damn, that is a pretty cool website; definitely bookmarking that one.

Where San Diego residents came from:
Los Angeles, CA 48,643
Orange, CA 30,334
Riverside, CA 27,067
San Bernardino, CA 14,707
Santa Clara, CA 12,388
Maricopa, AZ 11,294
Honolulu, HI 8,527
Clark, NV 8,231

Where San Diego residents moved to
Riverside, CA 92,962
Los Angeles, CA 38,728
Orange, CA 27,767
Maricopa, AZ 18,236

San Bernardino, CA 14,505
Honolulu, HI 7,642
Santa Clara, CA 6,151
Imperial, CA 5,560
Ventura, CA 5,459

I was surprised that Honolulu was one of the top ten places people in SD move to and from. And for Honolulu it was the #1 place people there move to and move from, I guess some want warmer ocean water and weather and others want a bigger city and to be on the mainland.

Los Angeles, CA 5,370

Some things that have surprised me about local areas:
--> Louisville has a net gain in immigration with Lexington (3,400 to 2,300). I though that would be the opposite by a large margin
--> Louisville had a net gain in immigration with Nashville but is nearly even with Cincinnati in net immigration. I expected a large deficit w/ N'vill and a huge surplus with Cincy
--> Fast growing Fayette Co (Lexington) had a net out migration of US citizens by 6,300.

A lot more places in Western KY had a strong pull to Louisville vs any other city than I expected:

--> More people from Paducah moved to Louisville instead of Nashville by a wide margin
--> More people from Bowling Green moved to Louisville instead of Nashville

I was also surprised than people moved from Knoxville TN to Louisville than to Chicago, Cincinnati, Lexington KY, Birmingham, or Greenville SC
