IMO Annapolis blows all the others out of the water. Such a beautiful town on the Chesapeake.

I honestly couldn't decide between Annapolis, Maryland and Providence, Rhode Island, so I voted for both. Sorry for "cheating!"

I picked Austin, TX. The ONLY city I've ever been to that I fell in love with at first sight.

A few of Des Moines, Iowa. Most people don't realize it's an actual city, and not some Iowa stereotype of cornfields and backwards country people. It actually has a really strong economy, a very smart population and a very low violent crime rate. Their murder rate within the past few years was around 1/100,000 for the metro.
