Default Alabama or New Mexico

I have this want to give Alabama a try or maybe even TN or MS but I like where I live and all the surroundings, I just want to try something different, afterall we only live once and plus I hate my job and I find it hard to get some jobs unless you know people.

so everyone feel free to give your imput as to which ones you would like to live, spend time in or make a permanent home or just which one would appeal to you. I know its all my decision but I just wanna hear others point of view and its something somewhat different than a vs. poll.

My brother was in New Mexico as a travelling nurse recently and hated it. He complained that the people are rude and the weather was awful so I will have to go with Alabama.

Alabama, I like the color green.

Regrets over not taking a risk are harder to pacify than regrets about a wrong decision in my mind.

I lived a couple years in eastern TN (North Knoxville area) years back. Enjoyed it very much. Smoky mountains are beautiful and enjoyed the sense of community. Missed the ocean a bit too much tho'. But you being from NM you probably won't care being landlocked.

Alabama: Southern fried food, seafood, beach, coastal plains, close to FL

New Mexico: Mexican food, mountains, dry desert, close to TX and CA

I happen to love TN. The people are friendly and coming for Albuquerque, there is a lot to do. Really pretty. I know a lot of people think New Mexico has this beautiful landscape, not in my opinion. I would go either TN or Alabama. You already know New Mexico. Try new things. If you dont like it, move back.
