Yeah, these numbers are way out of date. 900,000 + people in the city of Detroit? Not. Motown probably hasn't seen 900,000 people within city limits for at least 20 years.

Point taken. I should have said maybe a dozen years instead of 20. I'd guess the city now with a population of around 700,000 probably accounts for only a sixth of the people in the metro area metro area.
