Default State College, Pa

State College, Pa is my favorite. Great scenary, in the mountains, love the cool fall days for football games! Plus it's a safe town, good for families.

In the big ten I would say
Best college town is Madison - large city with lakes, and a lot to do.
Best college campus is Iowa City - beautiful, compact, and the east side/downtown is the best place to party.

i never lived near one but i knew a couple people that went to University of California, Davis... and Davis is probably the best example of a college town. i don't seem to have any pictures though.

We have been to countless college towns and our #1 favorite is Bloomington, Indiana. Second place goes to Athens, GA. Places like Princeton, NJ are gorgeous, but are so expensive that they would not be considered liveable if you had less than one million to spend on a home.

San Luis Obispo, CA.

Kind of biased since I grew up here and went to Cal Poly, but I love it just the same

I've lived in three and I'd rank them in this order:

1. Amherst, MA
2. Chapel Hill, NC

A very distant 3. Morgantown, WV

Why do people post pictures of Obama/Clinton and other democrat/liberal events? Does liberal = good place to live?
