I lived in both and they are so similar, i'd probably go with Wisconsin, I like that Wisconsin has more medium sized towns, in Minnesota you have the huge Twin Cities, Duluth, Rochester and then nothing. Southern Minnesota is basically farmland Iowa and Western Minnesota is basically the Dakotas in terms of geography and topography/

I like them both pretty much equally.

Though I hate the Packers. The Vikings are fine, especially this year.

Minnesota.

Specifically Minneapolis or St. Paul.

Tough decision, as both are great states, among the best in America. For me, Wisconsin's main draw is Madison ( although Milwaukee is nice too, especially along the shores of Lake Michigan); Minnesota's appeal is largely centered around the Twin Cities..

I'm originally from Minnesota, and spent a fair amount of time traveling the state with one of my jobs. MassVT is correct, in that Minnesota's appeal is largely the Twin Cities. What I prefer about Wisconsin, is that there are numerous medium-sized scattered throughout the state - something you don't find in Minnesota.

As far as topography, Wisconsin is much more diverse, and it's a more densely populated state. I also like the proximity of the Milwaukee area to Chicago. Wisconsin's best feature (IMO), is the entire eastern border - Lake Michigan.

Being from Thunder Bay Ontario, I am relatively close to both states and have been to both. From my experience Minnesota is much cleaner and the people are friendlier

Minnesota

More peaceful, beautiful areas than Wisconsin, So much to do in the Twin Cities. I prefer a state with one dominate metro area. The people here are nice and arguably the most attractive looking in the country (esp in Minneapolis)

I have lived in both states, and I couldn't disagree more.

That's kind of a hard one to pick, but if I had to choose, I'd probably pick Wisconsin, mainly I guess because southern Wisconsin, where most of the population lives, is a bit warmer in the winter than Minnesota, although i will say not by much. While Wisconsin has no major cities that can rival the Twin Cities, it's possible to live along the Great Lakes in Wisconsin without going to some of the northernmost points in the U.S. unlike Minnesota. Also, Wisconsin is not as geographically isolated as Minnesota.
