San Francisco. Any city that prioritizes offering equal civil rights to gays/lesbians wins brownie points in my book!

I'll go through the list one by one:
Los Angeles- Overpopulated, overpriced, overhyped.
San Francisco- Beautiful, crowded, and pricey but worth it.
San Diego- Great weather but overpriced
Las Vegas- Nonstop action, great weather, and fun fun fun!
Phoenix- Well I live here so they must be doing something right .
Seattle- Wet, snobby, overpriced and depressing
Portland- Never been there so no comment
Salt Lake City- Eh...it's ok
Denver- Beautiful scenery, nice people
Boise- Also never have been there
My favorite is Las Vegas. The action, the excitement, and the energy just gets into your veins!

I was actually a bit torn on that... my heart belongs to San Francisco (Tony Bennett had it right, lol), but I've always loved Portland. It has a few advantages to SF, in my opinion, like the cost-of-living and lighter traffic. But I can't betray my home, so San Francisco got the vote!

San Fran Has Taken Over!
Wow, thanks guys for voting! I'd have to go with the popular and say San Francisco. The city is the Big Apple of the West, absolutely astonishing ecspecially at night. But, I do very much enjoy Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Seattle, because of the hot weather and scenery!

Just to throw a bit of contrversy into, even though it's not a US city, Vancouver wins hands down.
Great resturants
Safe city and active downtown
Scenary is awesome
Quality of life
Americans (which I'm one) get a favourable exchange on your money.

Los Angeles. Which I truely hate(should have just voted for Mexico), but I truely enjoy the safe suburbs around LA(100oaks, yorba, malibu, oc). Some of the best weather in the world.
