What state thinks they area better than the rest of the country overall??
I'd say California. They seem so high and mighty just because they have good weather and alot of people/diversity
i hate how they are all rich and snobby about it

Well....not all of California is like that, go to a ranch on northeastern corner of the state near Alturas and you'll see what I'm talking about
with that being said...I don't really think that there's a state that thinks they're better than everyone else.

I'm surprised Texas isn't a choice. California and Texas... I'd love to see how that poll would turn out!
Florida and Illinois seem odd choices. Chicagoans brag a bit, but not the entire state of Illinois does.

The Tanner family, from the hit TV show, Full House, lived in California and sure had plenty of problems- on every episode.
I do wish my state had a Father's Office, Bay Cities Deli or Spaceland Lounge.

I would have voted TX too

CA, NY and CT have some of most powerful economies in world...are the epicenters of the global tech, finance and media/entertainment industries; but only a small fraction of the millions of people in even these overachieving states is affluent...
Doubt anyone intelligent feels "superior" simply b/c one lives in these states....presumably one's own career is a better way to judge accomplishments/talent than the achievements of massive economies like CA/NYC region...
