You're right Finger Laker, I think most people undervalue or aren't aware of the beauty of New York State.
Just think, the Adirondacks, Lake George, the lower Hudson (Storm King area), the Finger Lakes and wine districts, Howe Caverns, the Genesee river gorge, the "Grand Canyon of the East", Niagara Falls, Lake Erie and Ontario, the Thousand Islands, Long Island beaches-----the list goes on.
