I agree.
Most of those names don't seem ugly to me.
Why is the name St. Louis ugly? It's not necessarily flowing either, but I fail to see how it is an ugly name.
Gary, IN may be plain. Ugly? Nah.

It seems like every Texas city name just flows with Texas.
I dare Say all of these without thinking "Texas". - Houston
- San Antonio
- Dallas
- Austin
- Fort Worth
- El Paso
- Corpus Christi
- Lubbock
- Amarillo
- Waco
- Round Rock/Grand Prairie/Plano/Denton.....
BTW, I vote for Waco as an ugly name.
