The ratio of B/W in the city of Atlanta has been moving in the opposite direction for the last 15 years...it topped out at about 65%, and continues to decline.

I remember some Katrina refugees were relocated to Colorado. A man was interviewed who said they didn't know where they were going until the plane took off, then they were told they were going to Denver. I don't know how many stayed. What a culture shock that must have been! I've never been to New Orleans, but I daresay we have a different culture here.

Albuquerque with a African American Population of 3.1% in 2000 has risen to 5.4%
A sign of New Orleans refugees maybe?

Probably Baton Rouge and Memphis for blacks.
Probably Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Alexandria, Biloxi, and Mobile for whites.

If somebody here from Seattle said "I'm afraid of earthquakes and volcanoes, point me toward a city with lots of White people", their post would probably be deleted. Why not just find a city that's interesting to you and quit worrying about what color people are?

If I were a black person from New Orleans looking for a new city, I think I would choose the city with the least amount of black people. I have never understood peoples need to be with people their own race. This is America. Spread the diversity around. I think black people would be more respected if they mingled more with other races and did not all try to go to the same place.
