Parking Ticket Progress (live in, legally, airport)

I got a second ticket today for parking my car on the street the day when street sweeping takes place. The first amount was $5, the second amount was $15, the third amount is $50. What happens after you get a third one? Does it start over?

Do you EVER get a clean slate?

Wow, where do you live? Ours all start at $50 minimum. $5 would almost be funny!!

Our's are $30 maximum and that's for illegally parking at the airport door. It's also $45 to license and register your vehicle here for an entire year. We have no emissions either. We're lucky!

Depends on where you live. Each city will have a different set of rules. Check your city's parking authority website or call them. My guess is that the severity of the punishment would either remain constant ($50) or keep increasing. Fourth offense, maybe a boot.

$5 is funny! In my city it's $42 for street cleaning every time. Because I'm an airhead sometimes, I average 3-4 street cleaning tickets a year.

Thanks for all the help. I live in Pennsylvania. I called the office and they said that no, you do not get a clean slate. That friggin sucks.
