And DC is "extremely diverse" when 60% of it's population is black as well??!? Or Philly being "extremely diverse" with 86% of it's population being black or white?
So please explain how those cities demographics equate to diversity but LA's 46.5% hispanic population does not??

You are right, but why is only Portland and the other west coast cities only brought up I wonder, is there some competition of the people on the east coast with the far west coast?

No, because like I said... White is English, Irish, Italian, French, Czech, German, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, etc. Of the 46.5% Hispanic population of LA, about 40% of it's Mexican. No diversity. Look at Boston's North and South End, for example. Both are white, but they differ greatly. The North End has great Italian culture and the South End is an Irish section listed as probably the most dangerous white ghetto in America.

same with steve-o
its not about diversity, culture, or anything else other than these people speak spanish so they hate them for some strange reason
im guessing it relates to the fact that our state borders Mexico so naturally, we will have more mexican american citizens living here. People from the east/midwest associate hispanics with California, therefore hating them in the process of hating our state
i never got why out of staters are so angry with us, its not our fault we choose to live here, its not our fault we dominate americas economy and i say this in the least boastful way possible
|
You don't dominate America's economy. We were the most booming country in the world before CA was in the game. LA's a small-scale turd economy compared to New York and London.

okay but what about all the black people in those east coast cities you mentioned? How is that diversity but somehow LA's hispanic population is not?? Also what about 30% of white that makes up LA, are they somehow not made up of all those different backgrounds?

Yes but on those cities i posted the native americans dont have such a strong percentage, like in albuquerque they have a small percentage due to the fact abq is surrounded by indian pueblos.. in arizona or north western new mexico places like farmington, shiprock is where the bigger indian population is.
Indians dont even make up a quarter of the states population but they do make up 9.5% of the total population—the 2nd-highest percentage of indians in the u.s..
