Why do people dislike seasons? (neighborhood, place, brick)

I enjoy all the seasons especially fall, who doesn't love going to a high school football game on a cool night with a sweatshirt?
Me. I remember those nights. Now I only experience them after November, and only til the end of February. I hope I am fortunate enough never to see extreme cold or ice ever again in my lifetime. Moved from New Jersey to southern New Mexico. This is better.

Personally I prefer going in shorts and a t-shirt.
I do like cold weather to some extent, I just don't like it when I need to be active when its cold. You sweat but you don't warm up so you just end up being colder and uncomfortable under your layers of jackets.
I like cold weather. I'm technically dwarfish (39 inches) and barrell chested by nature. I've also gotten a bit fat by accident. Even before I gained weight I was called "Mr. Freeze" because I liked the cold and couldn't take the heat. (This was before the "Batman: The Animated Series" character)
Still I don't care for sleet because of the accidents involved. I like snow, but unfortunately my wheelchair gets stuck in it. So places with real winters appeal to me, but I guess I'd prefer they be somewhat dry winters. Downside of that is I get nosebleeds, but I've got KY Jelly for keeping the nose moist. (I use a Bipap, KY Jelly is preferred as it's non-petroleum. And yes that really is the only thing I use KY for, I'm a dork)
I've never had to get up before sunrise and shovel the heat off of my driveway so that my family could leave the house that day. I've also never had my vehicle slide on a street because the street was covered with sunshine. In a place with a real winter, I've had both of those things happen.
The way I read this, Your problem is not snow, but the fact that you live so far from where you need to be that you have become reliant upon a car.
If we get a big snowstorm, I just cross-country ski to work. Not that anyone would be there.
I have never liked 'cold weather'. In fact, I don't like it below 55 degrees! But it became an actual problem for me when certain health conditions set in, and breathing cold air is difficult, no matter what. So it makes winter a dreaded time for sure. But I have always been more heat-tolerant than many people. My co-workers think I'm looney when they see me doing power-walks in 95-degree weather.
It's not so much that I don't like seasons. I just don't like winter. It's possible to have seasons without a cold winter (you'd just have 3 seasons instead of 4). I like the other 3 seasons as long as they feel like the season they're supposed to be. In Massachusetts, winter extends into fall and spring. So late fall and early spring don't actually feel like fall and spring.
