The choices on the poll are all cities I've heard compared to San Diego at one time or another.

Why is Los Angeles winning? San Diego and L.A. couldn't be any more different. My vote went towards Miami although they are still very different.

my vote goes to Sydney, Australia, one of my favorite cities in the world. They both have spectacular bridges that hover across their bays, san diego has its convention center on the bay and Sydney has the opera house on its bay. Both have modern downtowns, although sydney is more developed. Both have stunning subtropical landscaping and both have lots of natural beauty, not just their topography, but their women too! Both metros are also relatively the. Same size. Both have gorgeous beaches with vibes that are unlike anywhere else.

I've never been to San Diego. What is it like? I heard it isn't as urban as San Fran, Seattle, or many of those cities on the list.

I say Los Angeles, or rather the area from Long Beach thru Orange County.
