Lots of those aren't headquartered in Seattle. Lots and lots of cities have a Nordstrom or T-Mobile. Boeing headquarters moved to Chicago too. Nintendo???? That is in Japan, how on earth would that be a Seattle company? Maybe US headquarters?

T Mobile is actually german-owned.
Boeing is in Chicago now.
Nintendo's US HQ is in Redmond, WA.

Seattle does have a lot of companies on the list though, relative to its size.

Microsoft, Amazon and Starbucks.

Nordstroms did begin in Seattle so I would assume it HQ is still there.

Apparently! Seattle probably could compete with the Bay Area for the highest amount per capita.

If you would read the title of the post it says "city / metro" All of the companies listed are either in Seattle or in one of its suburbs.

Lot's of cities have starbucks also.....what are you talking about? Nordstroms headquarters and flagship store is in Downtown Seattle
Nordstrom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

T-Mobile USA and Nintendo USA are both headquartered in the Seattle / metro.

Boeing Headquarters did move to Chicago (Very bad move IMO) but the majority of all employees and the company is in the Seattle Metro.
