Where do the statistics for city-data.com come from if not from the U.S. Census?
I went to some of the city profiles and I looked at some of the statistics, mainly population and poverty levels. Population might be the most factual of it because it shows the date for that statistic. Some other statistics may not be factual because I see that they are one thing one day and then suddenly it changes to some astronomical figure. I find it kind of weird and suspect some kind of error involved. I wonder who edits the statistics and where they get their statistics because if I have a hard time finding them online then who do other people get them?
I am suspecting something isn't right.
