I currently live in Des Moines and enjoy it a lot so I chose Des Moines. My definite second choice would be Minneapolis, Madison at 3rd, Sioux Falls at 4th, and Milwaukee at 5th. I love having winter and I love the culture in most areas of these states.

Iowa! I know people from there and they are friendly. Being from the South, I think I would fit in most there.

You would probably fit in more in Sioux Falls than you would in Des Moines.

Milwaukee. It's closer to everything and it's not in the middle of nowhere like Minneapolis is (no offense, but there's not much surrounding MNPLS). I love the river in downtown Milwaukee, too.

Definently Minneapolis/St. Paul, followed closly by Milwaukee. Des Moines is nice but very boring.Madison is...i don't know i don't get the hype at all, it wasn't that great at all. And I've never been to Souix Falls, but im guessing its a lot like the opposite of NYC haha

I'm surprised Milwaukee isn't a more popular choice, especially considering it is basically as a whole in one large region with Chicago.
