It would be horrible and I hope we never see such a thing in our life times. California is already way too over crowded and if San Diego surpassed Los Angeles the entire half of the state would be one continuous city. It is bad enough already that the only break between the urban spread is from San Clemente to Oceanside and the reason for the open countryside is that it belongs to the military [Camp Pendleton]. Many in California want the population to slow way down if not stop altogether. Anyone look at a picture of cities like Tokyo or Sao Paulo? High rise apartments for miles and miles into the horizon. It looks scary.

I was looking at the title of the thread and at that post and thinking what the heck????

Also that continent of africa thread was obviously made by a Texas attacker not a supporter. Duh. did you read the OP's comments?

That will not happen and I certainly hope not. San Diego like I said earlier, is L.A.'s safer, cleaner, more laid back younger brother. If these two grow drastically, It will have the Dallas/Fortworth complex.
