Washington D.C. is so much more powerful and important than New York the argument denying that doesn't enter logic. That being said, this supper club can issue all the declarations and impose all the sanctions it wants, but it will never gain the world's respect. The United States often has to go in where this so-called governing body fails miserably. With The Human Rights Council dominated by Arab and Muslim countries it just gets no funnier than that! Move it back to San Francisco where it belongs. That 'city' isn't part of these United States, doesn't play by the rules and has no real influence- hey! Whattaya know? It really does belong there!

Weren't the UN headquarters originally supposed to be moved every decade or some certain amount of time to a different member country?

Certainly not DC. The working unit of the world as a whole shouldn't be nussled up next to the national capital of the worlds largest economy.

Yes, please move it to NOVA, next door to me so that my property values can go through the roof like it did a couple of years ago so that I can sell and move the hell out of here and retire to the beach and live in peace and quiet!

Why would the UN want to be located in the seat of the US Federal Govt? The UN is not a US govt agency.
