I think it would be easier and makes much sense if the UN was Moved to the DC area...If DC proper is not feasible DC suburbs like Moco or Somewhere in Nova

No, there is no other city in the Americas that even come close to the importance of New York City. Europe could be a United Nation center but than the US would be less involved in the UN. It needs to remain in NYC

I think the US should just withdraw membership and tell them to take their ineffectiveness elsewhere. Free up more parking spaces for NYers.

The U.N. is perfect in New York City, but if it had to move here's my list of cities i think it would fit nicely in

San Francisco
Chicago
Washington D.C.

All those thousands of UN diplomats and bureaucrats spend a ton of money in NYC. All those unpaid diplomatic parking tickets for City of NY are petty cash compared to the serious money that is left at NYC restaurants, hotels and businesses courtesy of the fat payrolls and per diem charges for UN personnel. That's one good thing that comes to mind about the UN HQ. The downside is the annual parade of dictators and power mongers that show up around this time of year to address the general assembly and go after an ego boost.
