Every country is different and has good and bad qualities.
Many of your comments are ridiculous and your experience with this country is apparently VERY limited.
I bet many could visit YOUR home country and find plenty to complain about, as well.
Over crowded prisons, one of the most crowded on the planet.
Capital punishment, G*d bless Texas!
Torturing Prisoners of war
The trade embargo on Cuba
3rd most pollution producer on the Planet, right below China and India!
Too many SUV's, The Hummer! 1 mile per gallon!
40% of the drugs in the world are done here in America
Alcoholism
Obesity
No equal rights for everyone, hypocricy. (freedom of marriage)

my list as of now
Don't get me wrong, I love America, but I recognize that America is far from a perfect country. But, are there any perfect countries in the world? No, in my opinion.
I would add I don't like:
-bigger is better attitude that prevails
-quantity over quality attitude that prevails
-workaholic attitude (I guess might contradict "lazy attitudes") (we get too few vacation days)
-short sightedness- people don't look at long term consequences/want it all now attitude

That's some of my incomplete list
That reminds me of this interview with Dubya Bush and this American Mother.
She tells him "I got 3 jobs" and he says "thats so American."
She had three jobs to pay for her medical bills, so she wouldn't lose her home.
Encroaching socialism. See recent election & bailouts.
Lack of freedom. See recent everything, from both liberals and conservatives.
Feeling sorry for ourselves because we're not like Europe. Europe's pretty messed up, why be like them? We came here to get away from them.... let's not go back.
Lack of freedom. Lack of liberty.
Lack of freedom.
Too much expectations from government. They are to do basically nothing. Let's get that straight. No bailouts, no takeovers... Let us take care of ourselves, our loved ones, and others around us. Let us give freely to charity, so they can go about their work, which is much more efficient than anything the government could ever dream of providing.
Let the free market work itself out. The mess we're in is caused by government intrusion. The automakers are paying for their stupidity and lack of foresight. Let them fail. That way, a lesson will be learned, and they won't make the same mistakes, like giving in to the fuel-guzzling whims of the public, again.
Lack of freedom.
I love my country. We just need to get back to what we once were, in all the good ways, of course.
Well, we've probably compiled a list of 100 things we don't like about the USA. But if we picked up and moved somewhere else, we'd most likely find 101 things we hate there even more.
The world is NOT an easy place. And in most of the US's economic history since the 1900, times have NOT been particularly good. We got hit with The Great Depression that lasted a long time. Early-70's nearly saw a recession; in fact, that whole decade was strained. Early-80's, same thing ~ that's when housing everywhere began to launch into the stratosphere. Late-80's, jobs were scarce, largely in part to a noticeable increase in population and manufacturing companies picking up and relocating to 3rd World countries. (Mid-80's is also when illegal immigration ~ from the southern border ~ had started, and I was already bitching about the repercussions with THAT down the road . . and people thought I was nuts.) Early-90's, same competition. It got better; however, I started to notice numerous companies closing down as far back as '96. The economy has been slumping a lot longer than people realize.
Things have gotten out of control. And don't let me get started on over-population and illegal immigration leniency!!!!
