I have read and heard of out-of-staters visiting New Mexico and thinking that the people look ghetto here for some reason, what makes the people here any different, I was thinking of moving to Alabama or Tennessee sometime in the near future, I have heard that their views and mentality is alot different than ours here in the Southwest.

Has anyone had a tough time adjusting to another state or region cause of the people,I've been to the South before and it was different but the people didnt seem to stand out any, Is there certain states where you will experience more racism or shady looking people or the gangbanger type?

Don't listen to that whole, "they look ghetto" or "it's ghetto" talk from people on this forum or any other site on the internet. I've read people say Salt Lake City is a violent ghetto. The best thing is not to take it seriously; laugh at it becuz it's fun to laugh at these replies.

Anyway, if i could characterize a certain region from the United States I'd say people in the NE really seem to look hateful or unhappy in general. My brother lives in Gloucester, MA and I've visited that area. These people act like they woke up in a garbage dump.
