Those lazy shoppers need to shut up about our jobs going overseas or start shopping in a wiser way. It's the same thing with people who don't bother to vote, they need to either vote, run for office or shut up about the way the country is being run. How many of the whiners have ever written to their representatives or senators ?

We live in the walmart society. People want it now and on the cheap.
BTW, the quality of many products made in China are a direct result of what the US companies are asking them to produce. We provide them with the material to produce these goods and the manufacturing standards. Most of the time the strategy is to make it look good, but produce it inexpensively so that we can sell it to Americas WalMart culture.

And crashing our ecosystems too, with invasives.

Chestnut fungus destroyed the #1 useful tree species we had.
Kudzu vine? Ask any southerner.
Mimosa trees multiplying everywhere. Try raking their pods in the fall.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I went online and looked for hours to see if I could find sheets made in the USA. My state has lost a lot of jobs to overseas, so for you to say people don't care is just incorrect. Problem is, you can't find items that are made here because the factories are gone.
