Default What states/state regions/provinces would you consider to be Pacific Northwest?

Idaho, Montana (to the west of the continental divide, east is true Great Plains), Washington, Oregon, BC, and extreme southern Alaska panhandle

I consider the Pacific Northwest to be Western Washington, Western Oregon, and down into Humboldt county in California. I also claim British Columbia (Vancouver), despite the fact that is in Canada.

This is the definition I'd go with. People don't realize that eastern Oregon is desert. Western states are hugely varied.
