Despite its shortcomings, the city of Los Angeles, California is a very dynamic place to visit, work, play, and to live. Do you feel or believe that no U.S. city can compare to this city? Feel free to express your thoughts and feeling about this urban entity in comparison to the rest of America's cities.
^^ i agree that no city really compares. its an urban/suburban nightmare. i don't know when the city ends and the suburbs start and vice versa.....i one huge sprawl
i mean what the hell are the hills . is that like long island/catskills or something?
still a great, unique city. great beach culture...

Been to LA several times are frankly fail to see the appeal. I like my tiny town with a beach that will rival ANYTHING LA has for beaches and don't have the huge mass of people. For those that love the place, don't take this as bashing your slice of heaven, just not for me. I like my place much better is all. I really don't get the whole urban mindset I think. Just because a place is huge doesn't automatically make it a great place in my book.
LA has an energy that I have never felt in any other american city. It is much different than New York in that it is laid back, but still full of vibration. I'm talking about the entire metro area too. I would live there in a heartbeat, but work keeps me in Las Vegas. Luckily, its only a few hours away.
But to answer your question, no. No other city compairs to LA.
well, NYC is the greatest in the world. whole different story son
but yeah, LA is unique
