Both are associated with glitz and glamor and celebrities and entertainment in myth, but which one is actually more impressive in reality? The Hollywood section of LA (Hollywood Blvd & Sunset Blvd especially) or the Las Vegas strip?

You know which one I'm voting-- Vegas hands down.

I had to pick Las Vegas. For one, I live here. I have also been to Hollywood Blvd eons ago, and from what I remember, it wasn't as impressive as the Strip in Las Vegas. But it's a nice place to visit.

lol, the vegas strip is MUCH more entertaining, interesting, vibrant, bustling, and HANDS DOWN more impressive then hollywood blvd/sunset blvd/santa monica blvd/rodeo/beverly blvd combined! both places have a spectacular history; hollywood's is probably much better in that regard, but at first sight/impression, the vegas strip is where you go for LOTS of fun, not hollywood (unless you have a script you're preparing for or unless you were invited to a celebrity party/club).

Hollywood looks run down outside of the area surrounding the roosevelt hotel/chinese theatre/kodak theatre, and lots of weird ***** people hang out in the surrounding vicinity. all of hollywoods awesomeness takes place in the publicly blocked off major studios (unless you're going for a game/talk show).

There's nothing that compares to the Las Vegas Strip in this country. Nothing close. I don't think it's as beautiful as the Champs, but it's much more dynamic.

This reminds me of a post a while back where someone compared the Vegas Strip to Time Square lol.

'The Strip' is amazing, especially with City Center on the rise.

The Strip by far. Both are tacky, but there's no doubt that The Strip is going to impress you at least little. But it's one of those things that you'd get tired of. Like a plastic toy. I work in Times Square and it's really starting to annoy me. I work in a gift shop and I'm sick of being late to work because of tourists and traffic and I'm sick of having to be blinded when I leave that dark store late at night. Times Square was fun when I was an immature child into my early to mid-teens, but now the lights, glamour, and tackiness do nothing for me.

Las Vegas Blvd. is amazing! I've been there twice and I can't wait to go back again.

Never been to Hollywood but i'd love to go someday. I just doubt it can compare to Las Vegas Blvd.

Vegas is more glittery IMO, but neither of them inspire somewhere I want to go.

Hollywood is a nice neighborhood, but it's a functioning area with people living in it. The Vegas Strip was constructed for the sole purpose of entertaining people and providing fun. Vegas is much more impressive and exciting, but for obvious reasons.
