I prefer Tex-Mex.

I love New Mexican too, but Tex-Mex is by far my favorite food.

I love both, but to me they are two completely different tastes. We don't get much in the way of New Mexican food here in Austin, but the Tex-Mex is outstanding! However, I love trying the regional favorites when we travel to El Paso and New Mexico. I like green chile everything!
