In keeping with AQUEMINI331's great post about American cities personified I'm asking if American cities were people WHO they would be? As in what famous persons do you think are very representative of a particular city?

Los Angeles is big like John Wayne and hot like Marilyn Monroe or classy like Charleton Heston. New York would be, say... a little Scarlett Johansson ogleing Woody Allen. pathetic

Scarlett Johansson ogeling Woody Allen???? Non sequitur.

I see a lot of people in the Kansas City area wearing tee shirts that say "I'm With Dolph".

Detroit could be Tim Allen or Terry Crews

Seattle could be Richard Karn , Bill Gates, or Jimi Hendrix

Dallas could be Chuck Norris, or Patricia Richardson

Milwaukee could be the two women from Laverne and Shirley

Houston would be Beyonce because she is a international star even though lots of people would disagree, and they like to hate on her and say she is nothing compared to Britney Spears( Los Angeles) and Madonna (New York City).

I know Beyonce is from Houston but I see her more as Atlanta. When I think of Houston a country star comes to mind. Someone like Brad Paisley or Kenny Chesley.

Los Angeles - Pamela Anderson: Pretty to look at but not a whole lot of substance. Plus, tons of plastic.

Chicago - Madonna: Used to have a pretty wild past, but a bit more tame now. Willing to reinvent itself often to stay ahead of the game.

Detroit - Whitney Houston: Was a legend in the making, but fell off pretty quickly due to some poor choices and bad luck. Now a pretty sad story.

Atlanta - Jessica Simpson: Was the hot young thing for a while, but has cooled off a bit lately, though still relevant. Could use a bit more culturing.

Charlotte - Ashlee Simpson: A lot like her older sister. Tried to create her own distinct image with little success. Will likely always be overshadowed.

Philadelphia - Demi Moore: Was really big in its time, but now mostly hangs out in the background. Not irrelevant, but not exactly a major player anymore.

In my world, I see Houston as a black person. I go to TSU and the majority of my friends are black.
