I live in Lodi, NJ because I wanted to stay in North Jersey. But i was born and raised in Newark and Jersey City.. i ended up in Lodi because...

I went to college in Newark and found my (now) wife and she had an apartment in Lodi and we shared the rent in that apartment until we had a baby and moved to a bigger home in the same town.

how about you?

I'm here because this is where my job is, and where my home is.

Too scared to move. I've lived here 20 years and it would be difficult to adjust to a different city.

I am where I am because it has GREAT schools for my kids, great paying jobs for my wife and I, Natural beauty everywhere, and because I love to fish and boat, you can't get much better than here. The Great Lakes, 11,000 inland lakes, thousands of miles of rivers, and all are loaded with fish. Centrally located so it is a shorter drive to other parts of the Country if we decide to go someplace else for vacations. Weather is good all four seasons with not too hot of Summers, but not too cold of winters. Long growing season so there is an abundance of fresh fruits and veggies. Everything we need for our family. That is why we are here.

I was raised here.
It's alright. It's quiet, safe, though boring.

I live in Salt Lake City and I live here because I was born in the valley (Murray). My extended family is here. My family is here. My home is here. I don't know if I'd really be happy living anywhere else. Maybe somewhere like Portland. I don't know.
