Natural Disasters
What natural disasters have you directly been affected by? Where and when did it happen? How long did it take you to recover from it? Do you worry it will happen again?

Hmm, kinda wish you'd let us pick multiple answers, because I've witnessed or known people who have gone through several different kinds. Though, to be fair, the only natural 'disasters' to ever hit my house have been a few earthquakes, but they've never been strong enough to do real damage. They just shake things up a bit, knock a few pictures down, and that's that (I live in inland California in an area that has particularly weak earthquakes).

I coult of voted more than one..
i been through
Blizzard
Ice Storm
Flood
Hurricane
and yea they all suck, Flooding is the most worried onei went through because of bad leaks and the basement gets drenched and ends up causing a lot of damage throughout.
Blizzards are sometimes cool because im off from work, ut they could be dangerous to the point if i have to drive in it.
but other the driving in it i like hangin around with family with hot coco and watching a movie.. get more time to spend with the whole family.

The only natural disaster i've been in is Hurricane Ike. The biggest hassle for me was being without electricty a few days. I'm worried that another storm will come next summer and i'm pretty sure if another hurricane approaches the upper Texas coast I will be heading north to Dallas. The wind was alot more intense than I expected. For at least 5 hours I was scared my roof would be ripped off. It was nice having a few days off from school and work.

I wish you'd made the poll so we could pick more than one answer.
But I've been in more ice storms than anything else, so that's what I clicked.

Believe it or not.... 24 years of my life in Nebraska I never experienced a Tornado. I have been in an ice storm where we lost power for a few weeks.
