Having lived in Iowa the first half of my life, there's literally a thousand (or at least close to it) communities to choose from. Not many states can claim that many communities.

Correctionville
Diagonal
Elkader (the only city with an Arabic name)
Fruitland
Le Mars
Lost Nation
Mechanicsville
Mystic
Primghar (supposedly named after the initials of the surnames of the 8 founders)
Quasqueton
Spillville
What Cheer

And that's not including the dozens of Native American names.
