My husband is looking in to relocation for his job. The company will buy our house and send us to anywhere they have a job opening in the US or Canada. I am an elementary teacher in SW Missouri. Around here, jobs aren't too hard to come by. I am nervous about my husband being sent out of state, while not knowing anything about education in that state. I am wanting to know areas with teacher shortages or where there seem to be many openings. I am a good teacher and am sure I can get hired, if I can just get an interview. I However, I do not speak spanish. I am interested in learning, but currently do not know. I know, in some parts of the country, that would eliminate me as a well qualified candidate.

We were very interested in several US cities. Like Dallas, for example, but am nervous about teaching job prospects. Especially without speaking Spanish. Where are teachers needed?
