Why bring this up now?
Answer the question. Why was it not reported on in national news. Why was the vicious, heinous, vile murder not reported? It was unprecedented. Yet, the so-called "Jena 6" case gets coverage for weeks, and then in the wrong light?
Because they caught the people that did it. What else do you need? It's sad they died, but people died every day. Do you want this on national media to prove something???

This pair of kids were tortured, sexually abused, and mutilated, and yet not a peep in the national media.
We all know that if this were a pair of black victims and a white group of assailants, the media would have made sure that no one would forget it.

If you did then you'd read that they weren't mutilated or tortured like what is described at the beginning of that article.
And if you actually kept reading, or read it all for that matter, you'll find an answer/explanation to your question at the bottom of the article
Seriously, what is up with you try to make blacks look bad?? I really think your racist now because you can't seem to make a post without in some type of way degrading black people.
I definitely remember hearing about this story last year up here in Chicago and I was totally horrified. I think it was seen as more of an awful murder like we see FAR too often in the USA than a hate crime. There doesn't seem to be any connection to the white-black thing other than those circumstances.
