In the eastern part of New Mexico they are made with the Texas style chile, in the rest of New Mexico they are made most often with red or green chile.

I been to Braums and it's unique to me, it's like 711 meets Burger King or something. I don't think their burgers can touch the Varsity but that limeaid was very good and the shakes were on point. I also had a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce and jalapeno peppers on it that I liked.
