Nah....too many dumb (perhaps "IQ-challenged" is more polite term?) people and a lack of a real economy, except people from Eastern US visiting to escape winter...or to die....

Grub (at any price) in FL is simply inedible

Flat topography is anathema for any car nut who seeks interesting twisty roads w/elevation changes....

Would much rather "retire" to LA's Westside and/or live on SF Peninsula if still working...best combination of places to keep all of one's senses sharp....

I like real mild winters, beaches, and flat, open spaces, so yes, I would definitely pick it over most states. But I'd select Palm Springs first.

I dont have any want at all to live in Florida no matter how the weather is there, the place just dosent intrest me.
