Just came back from our warehouse food store and I heard about 2/3 of the customers speaking Spanish. What language is prominent in your area and what state are you in? I am in the melting pot of New Jersey, boiling!

Hell, I find myself speaking Spanish about 20% of the time and I'm not even Hispanic. I hear or speak Spanish pretty much everyday.

I also hear Vietnamese and Chinese in this area a good amount, but not every single day.

I live in Portland, Oregon, Today like most days I heard Spanish and Russian as well as German. Spanish being the most prominent foreign languange here followed by Russian. We have a huge Russian community in this region of the country. The german could have been Tourist.

I did not hear a foreign language today.

Sometimes I hear Spanish, sometimes Chinese, sometimes jibberish when the politicians are on.
