Have you heard of our $17 BILLION dollar budget deficit and state budget that was approved over 80 days late?? If you think you are doing bad just look out west towards CA and hopefully that will make you feel better

I hate Phoenix and love Chicago but in every other respect Arizona wins over Illinois.

I live in Illinois and would definitely prefer it to Arizona. I couldn't stand the extreme heat in Arizona. We get enough of heat here in the summer. While I live in the Chicago suburbs and plan to relocate out of state in the next couple of years, I would move to a more rural area of Illinois if I was staying put here.

I'd rather live in Chicago than Arizona, but Arizona is a cool place to visit. I'd rather live in Arizona than Southern Illinois.

Arizona. I find Illinois to be cold and boring. The scenery of Arizona kills the scenery of Illinois, I prefer Phoenix over Chicago, Arizona is close other interesting places (Mexico, Las Vegas, Southern California), and the climate of Arizona is more varied than the climate of Illinois (Flagstaff has more days with temperatures under 32 than any other metropolitan area in the country, while Phoenix has more days with temperatures over 100 than any other metropolitan area in the country). Illinois residents seem to lean heavily on Chicago to explain why their state is grea,t while Arizonans can list many amenities/landmarks that make our state great.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Having grown up in the Chicago area, I consider 90+ degrees w/ high humidity extreme heat. In addition, I prefer to see snow on the mountains rather than in my driveway. Besides, Arizona isn't comprised of only Phoenix w/ high temperatures in the summer.

90 degrees with high humidity? Know how many days we had all summer like that? 6. I repeat: 6. Put that in your AZ crack pipe and smoke it.

Sorry bub, but Chicago summers are INFINITELY more comfortable than Phoenix's.
