Too much grey.
No springs.
Too many illegals.
Schools have declined.
Crime is a lot heavier here than even many locals realize.

I like San Diego, but like all cities, there are always a few things to dislike. Here's my list:
  • Materialistic snobs
  • (Sub)urban sprawl
  • Too many illegal immigrants
  • High cost of living
  • Incompetent local and state gov't

And I'll add in another I'm sure all San Diegans can agree with:
  • Underachieving sports teams

3.Thuggish culture. Sometimes I feel like the only guy under 40 without tattoos and earrings and a closet full of 'wife-beater' shirts, and those ridiculous over-sized, sideways-wearing, "look at me, I'm pretending to be 12 years old" hats. Oh yeah, and my pants fit properly. Total fish out of water.
4. Crime. See above.
5. Excessive sprawl.

Other than that, I love it.
Where are you from?

Nothing really that I can think of except that the weather changes between extremes and we don't have any skyscrapers taller than 630 feet.
