2. Governor/mayors are the biggest joke on earth
3. Corruption
4. Chicago Cubs. I love em, but enough is enough.

Totally agree....I'll add:
1. crime is out of control

3. gas prices also among the highest
4. sports is the religion of choice here, taken WAY too seriously
5. urban decay- depressing
Minnesota, more specifically the Twin Cities Metro:
1. Hard to make friends if you haven't lived here your whole life.
2. Road construction when its above freezing, people driving slow when its below.
3. Bad drivers (ex. going 2mph faster when you pass, on a 3 lane highway the lanes are: people going 5mph under the speed limit, people going 2mph under the speed limit, the passing lane filled with people going the speed limit)
4. Did I mention the people suffer from xenophobia and elitism?
5. Lack of decent public transportation
and the list continues....
I've found that Minnesota is one of the most civilized places to drive in that I've ever seen. I haven't spent enough time there to try to make friends, but the vast majority of personal encounters I had were over-the-top friendly.
Only New England compares.
People at least have some sort of respect for speed limits in Minnesota. My biggest complaint was congestion in the cities, and the odd absence of left-turn lanes in the older parts of town.
Comparing Minneapolis to some place like Kansas City... In Kansas City, you can take ten cars at random. Three of them will hover around the speed limit, three will be going 15 above, three will go 10 below, and the crotch rocket will be going so fast that the cops don't bother chasing them. Combine that with the NASCAR, I-must-be-in-front mentality, and it's an overall nightmare.
Kansas City is typical of many big cities I've driven in like Dallas, St. Louis, Memphis, New Orleans, etc......
Love your reply here. How about if we just stretch it to 10 and add another for Job Market, another one for illegals and even one more yet for liberals?
Well First I do love Phoenix but as much as I praise my town I might as well post the negative stuff too.
1. Employer mentality not good. "I can hire someone else for cheeper."
2. Public Transit it is getting fixed but still far behind the need.
3. Sherriff Joe Arpaio!!!! "Nuff Said!"
4. 18 seasons of the Cardinals never succeeding accept for the 9/7 year second round playoff fluke!
5. We tend not to constuct for the future but the present.

1.Too hot
2.Sheriff Joe
3.Crime (we seem to be having a lot of serial killers and rapists in the past few years.)
4.Downtown sucks
5.Drivers and people's manners are tied. (worst drivers ever: follow too close and expect you to drive 80 on a 25. And the people's manners: will think of you as invisible and will walk straight into you at a mall or in an empty store and pretend to not see you.)

lol dont forget
Obnoxious people, the Dan Ryan expressway, Urban spread and high crime rate. But I do give Props to the mayor of Lynwood for banning the overly baggy pants.
1. Terrible weather.
2. Ultra conservative.
3. Rising crime rate.
4. Too much construction.
5. Crazy drivers, among other things.
"Too much construction"
That should not be too surprising considering Utah is the youngest state in terms of age, and one of the fastest in terms of population growth.
