i can only guess why alaska is #1. it would be interesting to see posts by population from say, july. guarantee alaska wouldn't be the leader.

Great job on the map! I can't wait until Wednesday evening so I can update this soon-to-be weekly ritual! I did this once a number of months ago in the past but only tumbleweed rolled on by so I just let the thread die. It's nice to see people are interested in these sorts of statistics. Along with adjusting the rankings weekly I'll also note along the side whether the forum/sub-forum has moved up or down the list and by how many places.

The posting delta (I now understand the concept) would be awesome as well, but methinks I should spend more time posting gobbledygook on the NEPA sub-forum to make us more popular than the Long Island sub-forum than I should be wasting time on the General U.S. board!

LOL like you won't do that anyway!! I know I'll be increasing my active posting in relevant areas.
