I know that my boyfriend doesn't mind commuting as he will only be working there (7 on 7 off) I guess we could live near Tulsa or in Missour or even Texas.

Is there good nightlife in OKC and Tulsa?
Living in Tulsa or Missouri, while commuting to OKC? That's a very long distance to drive. The whole mid-section of the U.S. gets lots of severe weather. You would have to get so far away from OKC to avoid it, that commuting would be impossible.

Other than that, North Dakota is considered to be one of the lowest crime areas in the U.S. Louisiana's one of the worst in that category.
Western Colorado might be okay, depending on where you live. It can be pretty expensive in certain areas out there.

We did speak about it and he doesn't mind the commute since he'll be staying on site for 7 days.

Which city is better OKC or Tulsa? I love my nightlife, shopping, walkable cities, clean, not as much crime and i love to hunt. What is the deer like there?
