I'll be a mailing my halloween candy off to ScranBarre. The address is the rich burbs of Scranton,PA.

Gosh it's sure a quiet night here for Halloween. It's good night to stay in and read a book which I'm going to do now.

How's it going in your area so far?
I had zero trick or treaters in Tennessee. I had zero trick or treaters when I lived 12 years in Maryland. I think I have it figured out. If you don't live on the ground floor in an apartment complex, trick or treating kids and their parents will not go up and down the stairs from building to building, they just hit the ground floor apartments.

Last year I had about 20 not including those teenagers that come late. This year 0
Went and stood on the sidewalk and looked up and down and didn't see or hear a single child.
I was kind of bummed out because I love to give them candy and see their cute costumes. Some of the neighbors had very cool decorations and sounds. I finally turned the porch light off around 9.
I'm stumped as there are tons of kids in this neighborhood. boo hoo

about 100 - a few blocks away get much more because I live at the top of a steep street AND you need to climb a bunch of steps to get to my front door and kids today are lazy

We had ZERO come to our place. Most of the kids in the neighborhood go to the shops and businesses a block away on Newark Avenue, which hand out candy to all of the kids. There's a little festival at the end of the street in the Grove St PATH Plaza. When I was walking home from the train I saw lots of families going from shop to shop, with the kids asking for candy.
