I'll have to go with everyone who says Chicago and New York on this one.

They are also the best cities for New Years Eve celebrations in my opinion.

VerBoston is on a distinguished road
I'd have to say New York City - from Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade through New Years' Eve in Times Square, NYC has it. Rockefeller Center and the Christmas Tree, the skating rink, the Miracle on 34th Street, Rockettes Christmas Show; the store displays, NYC is so much fun during the holidays !!

Like the U2 song..New York like a Christmas Tree, the madness, it belongs to me.

How big a city are we talking here?
Philly was mentioned but an hour up the highway is Bethlehem 'The Christmas City'.
I'd always been curious about Christmas in the Smokies myself.

Well gee whiz I say Minnesota. We have beautiful Christmas displays and the holidazzle parade. We have snow and snow and snow. Did I say we had snow? Oh and cold weather. It would never be Christmas to me in states where they have warm weather at Chistmas. JMO.

In Philly they pelted Santa with snowballs during a Eagles game.
I'm going with Walton's Mountain.
