Yes deffenetly NYC. Yeah Philadelphia is also nice during Christmas time. I know is not in Philly, but 30 minutes from the city, there is a special place called Longwood Gardens. Beautiful place to spend a day during the Christmas season.

Chicago! Outdoor Xmas markets, trees all lit up, ice skating, cozy bistros and snow, snow, snow!

anywhere it snows!

the only city i've been near on christmas is Boston so I can't really judge. I'm sure New York is beautiful. Halifax NS has it going on pretty well right now- snow on the ground and a decent showing of lights.

However, Classic Christmas for me will always lean more towards smaller towns.

Is everyone picking Chicago because of the movie Home Alone? That's why I picked it.

i think every city has its pretty spots during the christmas season. of course everyone on here is going to say an east coast/midwest city because it snows. sorry we dont really get snow on the west coast. and as for thinking that hawaii is a hot and sweaty place, can you tell me why so many people go there to spend christmas? it may be warm in hawaii, but they do have the most beautiful christmas season there.
