This was tough...I'm a native Chicagoan and I think from a pure architectural standpoint, nobody beats Chicago. But for beauty and inspiration, I voted for my adopted hometown, San Francisco (I miss it!). Golden Gate Bridge in the fog is too beautiful to describe in words, and driving across the Bay Bridge at night from the East Bay back into the city looks like you're descending onto a blanket of stars. Best.City.Ever.

How can you pick Minneapolis as the most beautiful and breathtaking skyline? Its ok but the best in the U.S.? I beg to differ.

I vote for Seattle or Pittsburgh. We have plenty of Seattle, here are some better ones of extraordinary Pittsburgh.
