1200 ft is 250 ft (!!!) shorter than the Sears Tower, which is going to be dwarfed by the upcoming Chicago Spire which is planned to be 2000 ft. San Fran probably wont ever lay claim to the tallest skyscraper based on the earthquakes that plague the region.

I can't wait for the Trans bay to get built. San Francisco needs more height. I hope they use this design, and not that other ugly thing first offered.

No offense but the cityscapes of Hou,ATL,dallas look like props from Universal Studios.

Downtown Houston looks exactly like the western suburbs of Philadlephia-Except in the Philly suburbs the buildings are 4 story sprawlers instead of 40 story risers.

Houston
Well when you post an ugly picture like that, of course downtown Houston looks like crap. Number one, that's not all of downtown, and two, while it appears to be an autocentric, anti-pedestrian CBD it is most certainly not. It's not as dense as some other northern cities, but it's dense nonetheless. There are a lot of horrible parking lots, but it is a very young district currenty undergoing rapid development. Give it a chance.

Also, remember that your opinion is based solely on pictures, because I'm positive you've never been to DT HOU.

That's not fair. The Atlanta skyline is actually really cute. And even somewhat modest.

Hmmm, well Dallas and Houston are just as flat and earthquake free as Chicago and New York, so say hello to your new future competition, lol. (If they would stop scrapping the plans for these towers)
